Yamaha Synthesizer CS-5 Trying out
Just got another Yamaha CS-5 synthesizer again. It was the first synthesizer that I bought years ago (don't remember what happened to the previous one). Just trying it out to see if it works.
Recently got another Yamaha CS-5 synthesizer.
It was the first synthesizer I ever had (if you don't count electronic organs that my Dad had built). Anyway I don't know what happened to the one I used to have (think I may have swapped it for a motorbike at the time).
I used to have a CS-10 as well, but I sort of preferred the CS-5 for some reason.
I've tried controlling it with the CV outs on an Arturia keystep37 and it seems to work OK (although I did forget it wasn't volts-per-octave and is in fact volts-per-hz).
Plans for the future are to modify it a bit to add an extra envelope and some more modulation inputs, so that I can interface it with some modular gear. I want to do the mods so that the synth can be taken back to fully original though. When (If) I ever get round to this I will post some more videos.
