digital echo chamber build
A Sunday build of a digital echo unit from a kit.

I bought a simple digital echo chamber unit a little while ago. It was in the draw gathering dust, so I decided to build it on a quiet Sunday morning a few weeks ago and try it out. I obtained the kit from CPC in the UK when I was ordering some other components... basically to make up the postage costs. It is a Velleman kit and the purchase link for it is here.

Anyway, I managed to build the kit in a couple of hours, and add the connection cables etc. Then I ended up trying out the unit very briefly with a Behringer Crave semi-modular synthesizer. It actually wasn't too bad! I probably wont be using this as a dedicated echo unit in the future, as I have access to a number of other effects processors. But, I do want to try and modify this kit to add CV (control voltage) inputs for the delay and feedback controls. I would then like to use the unit with some other modular gear.
Some pictures of the build process and the finished kit are shown below, there is also a link to a brief video demo of the unit. If you like the video, please try and check out some of the others, and Please Subscribe, if you can. Thanks.
